Biking: 64 miles
Today was our first day on the Cowboy Trail. Wow! What a beautiful trail. We rode from Valentine to Bassett on the trail, except for a few miles on Route 20.
We stopped for lunch in Ainsworth, NE, at a restaurant called Big John’s. Big John looks like he’s seen better days, but the burger I had was amazing.
Tonight we’re staying in an AirBNB called Nana’s Guesthouse in Bassett, NE. It’s lovely. We left Brian in Valentine, so he could have a day off from moving the RV.
We had great pizza at The Shack tonight on the main street in Bassett. Looking forward to jumping back on the Cowboy Trail tomorrow and heading to Ewing.
