Less than two weeks and counting

The countdown continues. Just 12 days until we pull out in the RV and start driving west. It’s been a busy couple of months preparing for the trip, figuring out the wifi setup for Brian, mapping out the campground and biking routes, and getting the bike equipment ready to go (and so much more!).

We spent a week on the Gap and C&O trails recently for a practice trip in the RV. I biked every day, and Brian worked from the RV and then moved to the next campground. The simulation helped us identify a few more issues to solve before we leave – more food and water on the bike for me, and better planning for the drive for Brian. Overall, we had a good practice run, and we’re feeling more ready for the big trip.
